- I'm me, that should really tell you who I am. I like to be myself and if people don't like that, I don't care. I'm outgoing and I love to make friends. I make friends and I keep them. I like to be independent. I don't like to rely on others because I have always felt that I should be able to take care of myself. I like being me, my sisters will tell you I like being me sometimes too well. If you want to meet me, just ask. I like talking so don't think that if you start talking to me I won't answer because I will engage in most conversations. To end, I'm me and if you don't like it get over yourself. So this was a little disconcerting for me. Like I said before: this is the darkest that my hair has ever been. If you don't know what this is. I put up a challenge on Facebook and let everyone on there choose my next hair color and they all chose dark brown/black. This is a mahaogany redish brown color so I got red put in there too.
ReplyDeleteIts very not me. I like being blonde, its kinda my thing, you know? Everybody has something that defines them and makes them. Mine, I like to think, is that I'm very individual and I don't go with the crowd. However, I realize that in doing this I went with the crowds and gave in to peer pressure, of sorts. I know that the colors will fade away and I can always go back to blonde but I realized as I was doing this that, maybe we all still have those moments when we give in to something that we think is going to be cool because other people have done it and it looks good or looks cool so we have to do it to. Maybe that feeling never goes away. we just have to be willing to fight that in order for us to move on and become our better selves. Of course, you could always make the mistake and learn from that too. I know I have.
But hey, maybe I can prove my sisters wrong for once and convince them that blondes really have more fun... I mean come on since getting this color done I have gotten really depressed and I don't think its just because of the shock factor.
